Warehouse stock taking

The Warehouse Stock Taking feature is used to report counted items on an inventory.

Note

This feature is meant for use in the warehouse inventory, and not for the store.

Report quantity

  1. Open the Warehouse Stock Taking module from the menu
  2. Select the inventory you want to report from the list of the active inventories
    Depending on the status each job can have a certain background color. The finished jobs are marked with green, the active jobs that are in progress are marked with yellow and the uninitiated jobs are marked with grey.
    To the right of every active or unitiated job the app displays the number of the storage bins that need to be processed and the total number of the storage bins included in the job.
    The app displays the number of storage bins that are included in the job.
  3. Enter or scan a storage bin
    You can choose to autofill the input with the next unitiated storage bin by toggling the ‘Autofill next bin’ option from the context menu.
    If a bin only contains one kind of article (and no parcels) id the user transfered directly to point 5
  4. Enter or scan a parcel or article
    It is possible to report parcels in any order, but articles must be reported in the order shown in the screen (if you try other will you recive an error message)
  5. Enter the quantity of the selected parcel/article or confirm the suggested quantity

After reporting a quantity, you will return to the first image and scan the next storage bin.

To modify a reported quantity, scan the bin again (and if needed parcel/article) again and enter a new quantity.

There is a colour encoding for each detail line in the inventory list:
White = Not processed
Yellow = Processed with difference
Green = Processed without difference
Grey = Processed and approved, with or without difference

More than one person can work with the same inventory mission and can start from different stock locations.

Offline mode

There is a certain “offline mode” to speed up the process with large inventory missions (many lines). The mode is managed from the context menue (…). “Offline mode” is activated/deactivated by changing “Activate/deactivate synchronization” in the context menue. “Offline mode” is when “Deactivate sychronization” is chosen.

When “offline mode” is activated the refresh symbol is shown with an exclamation (!) in the symbol. “Offline mode” means that all inventories that are processed anyway will be updated immediately in Harmoney, but there is no automated refresh of the inventory mission. You do the refresh manually with the refresh button. If you are more than one person working with the same inventory mission you should press “refresh” now and then, to secure that you will not try to process inventories that someone else already has processed.

The setting for synchronization is saved locally in the unique PDA, even when Harmoney app is closed.
