Build parcel

The function allows the user to create a parcel from a quantity which is available in a unit based stock location. The function is an add on to the handheld basic functions. The function needs to be activated by Pulsen. Contact Pulsen if you are interested.

1. Scan or register the stock location to build parcel from.
2. If the stock location contains more tha one article: Chose which article you wish to build parcel from.
3. The article details are displayed and the quantity shown is the total quantity for that article and location.
4. Reduce the quantity if you need. The quantity given is the quantity that will be in the parcel that is created.
5. Create the parcel by pressing “Build Parcel”.

If you have a Wifi/Bluetooth-connected printer activated for the function “Build Parcel” in the PDA a parcel label will be written for the parcel. The parcel label is written with a layout that are adjusted for a label with the size 75 x 75 mm.

The function creates a parcel with a balance placed on a specific stock location. This stock location needs to be defined with a specific stock location type, “Transfer location”. When the parcel is placed on the “Transfer location” the balance is not available for new customer orders or picking. To move the parcel from the “Transfer location” to the replenishment location (buffer location) use the function for Transfer parcel
