Registration¶
Note: Requires Android version 7 or above
This feature allows the user to register customer returns
- Scan the serial number from the picking label of the item you want to register as returnedYou can alternatively enable continuous scanning from the navbar menu on the top right, which will automatically start the scanner and make it run continuously until it is stopped from the same menu. While the scanner is running, it will scan all serial numbers which are visible to it and mark the items as returned.Once an item is scanned, it will be added in a list visible on the screen, displaying the status and serial of the item which was scanned. If the process of returning the item fails, an error message will be displayed and the continuous scanning will be stopped if it was enabled. You can reactivate the continuous scanning by dismissing all error messages.
The functionality may be switched between two different modes. Switching of mode is made by pressing the icon symbol, looks like a washer machine, in the upper menue field. If the icon symbol is grey the mode is for scanning of returns which have normal handling time. If the icon symbol is white the mode is for scanning of returns with need extra “control or finish”. The returns are directed to different trolleys, depending on the actual mode. This is in purpose to handle the storage of the different kind of returns separate from each other.
Printing of the return labels¶
To configure the printer for the return labels, go to Settings -> Printers and tap on “Return Labels”. A window will pop up which will let you configure the printer connection and label layout. Click “OK” to save the settings. Once you configured the printer, every time you scan an item in “Returns Registration” it will be printed if the return process of that item succeeds. You can try re-printing an item that was successfully returned by tapping on it and holding down for 1-2 seconds, and then select “Print label” in the top right corner of the screen.
