Solution¶
Pulsen provides the Harmoney Web Service Public Core Library (WsPCL) to make it easy for Pulsen’s customers to integrate systems to Harmoney and shorten the implementation process. WsPCL works by providing a common interface with available public classes and methods.
WsPCL uses objects instead of Xml documents, so integrators don’t need to develop their own conversion algorithms. The goal is to provide an interface where the integrators don’t need to know the inner workings of Harmoney or the web service and can focus their resources on the development of their own applications.
Access to the Web Service Public Core Library¶
WsPCL works as a wrapper for Pulsen’s traditional web services. The objects that integrators use to access WsPCL represent those web services’ XML nodes. All objects are designed using best practice from Harmoney’s traditional web services. Access to WsPCL is granted separately from access to other web services. Access is needed both for WsPCL and the traditional web services for certain functions.
